My name is Andrey C. Yurmanov and I had the pleasure of joining the firm of Campbell & Cooper in the summer of 2006 as an articling student after graduating from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law. Prior to entering law school, I attended the University of Calgary and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002.
I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia having moved to Canada when I turned 17. I speak Russian fluently.
My areas of practice include transactions for the purchase and sale of business assets and shares, incorporations, real estate transactions, civil litigation, wills, estate matters and family law. I appeared at all levels of court in the Province of Alberta including the Court of Appeal.
I am a member of a number of legal associations including the Alberta Civil Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association and the Fort McMurray Bar Association (Co-President for the 2011/2012 term).
Having been a loyal resident of Fort McMurray for over five years, I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities devoting my spare time to hunting and fishing, which this region has no shortage of. I also enjoy martial arts having trained throughout the years in Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mui Tai and Karate. I pride myself in being a physically active individual and rarely enjoy staying home simply relaxing.
