Corie Flett graduated from the U of A Law School in 2010 and received her Call to the Bar in July of 2011.
Corie is now a Partner at Cooper & Company, having formerly articled under Terrence Cooper, Q.C
She has demonstrated extraordinary leadership and commitment to the Wood Buffalo region through both her profession and ongoing involvement in various community organizations.
Corie is a proud member of the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation. She is a member of the Northern Lights Health Foundation Board of Directors, the Fort McMurray Airport Authority Board of Directors and was recently appointed to the Law Society of Alberta Education and Credentials Committee.
Corie Flett has provided a wide variety of pro-bono legal services to First Nations persons in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and is dedicated to the community and helping those in need.
She has demonstrated a dedication to her clients and a tradition of excellence in representing their interests. In assisting her clients she brings to the task not only her knowledge of the law and her litigation skills but also the dispute resolution skills Corie learned as a mediator.
