Waverly Bird was born in British Columbia and raised in Nova Scotia. She attended Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, NS where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance and a Certificate in Human Resource and Development.
In 2011, Waverly graduated from the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton with a Bachelor of Laws.
Waverly articled in her home town of Amherst, Nova Scotia at Creighton Shatford where she gained experience in many areas of the law with the majority of her work being Federal Prosecution.
The time spent at that firm as well as the mentoring relationship I received helped me build a strong foundation of skills that translate well to any practice area of law.
Waverly Bird joined Cooper and Company in 2012. Waverly is an experienced litigation lawyer. Although her practice includes a wide range of litigation matters she has a primary focus on personal injury litigation
Her favorite past times are baking/cooking/tasting food, spending time with my family and friends, and doing any kind of outdoor activity.
She enjoys living and working in Fort McMurray and looks forward to watching this great city continue to grow and prosper.
Waverly is proud to say McMuuray’s my Home
