Conor J. Clark is an associate lawyer at Cooper and Company.
Conor was born and raised in Fort McMurray, and has lived in Fort McMurray for his whole life. Conor graduated from The Kings University with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, History, and Economics in 2012. Following his graduation Conor attended the Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law in Kamloops British Columbia, graduating in 2015 as the second graduating class of Canada’s newest law school (and the first new law school in Canada of the twenty-first century). After graduating from law school, Conor returned to Fort McMurray for his articling program with McMurray Law Office. Conor’s articling period was rather unique, as he was forced to evacuate with his family from Fort McMurray during his articling period due to the 2016 Fort McMurray Wildfire. Conor worked remotely from Edmonton to assist clients with their matters while under evacuation, and continued to assist clients after returning to Fort McMurray.
Conor was called to the Bar of Alberta on October 3, 2016, and joined the Cooper and Company team on November 1, 2016.
Conor is proud to practice in Fort McMurray, and participates in many causes in the community. Conor is a member of the Board of Directors for the Northern Lights Regional Health Foundation, and works along with the rest of the members of the foundation to continually improve the quality of medical care available to the citizens of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo here at home.
Conor is also an active volunteer with the Fort City Church, and you can often find Conor greeting on Sunday mornings.
In his spare time Conor enjoys reading, board games with friends and family, and enjoying the numerous outdoor activities that Fort McMurray offers.
